Roster — included with Coach Pro

You coach people, not spreadsheets.

Import your roster once. From that day on, your journal knows who Marcus is, your meetings file themselves to the right athlete, and the Advisor answers like it was standing at practice.

One Week In

A week with a roster.

Monday. The spreadsheet’s last job.

Drop the file you already have — CSV or Excel. Map the columns once, keep the fields your program actually tracks, and the sheet retires. Ten minutes, and every athlete is a record instead of a row.

Tuesday. The notes file themselves.

You talk through practice on the drive home, same as always. The notetaker hears the names and files each note to the right record. When “Marcus” could be your running back or your head coach, it asks. One tap, filed.

Wednesday. One roster, whole staff.

On a team plan there is one roster, shared. The coordinator’s meeting note and your journal note land on the same record, each signed by the coach who made it. Nobody re-tells the story in Monday’s staff meeting.

Thursday. Walk in already briefed.

Ask the Coach Advisor about anyone on your roster by name. It pulls the record and the recent notes before it answers — so the one-on-one starts prepared instead of from memory. The conversation files back to his record when you’re done.

One-on-one with Caleb Thompson tomorrow. What should I walk in knowing?
Caleb is your junior QB — #7, first string on Varsity. Two notes this week: Tuesday you logged the bad snap — he reset and took the rep again without a word — and Wednesday Coach Ramirez noted he owned the protection check and coached the line up after. Walk in and name what you saw: the response, not the snap. Then ask him what he wants the huddle to feel like when things go wrong…
No card. No popup. It looks him up and answers like a coach who was there.

The week ends with a person, not a file.

Already mid-season? It catches up.

History sync reads back through the journals, meetings, and Advisor conversations you’ve already captured and files the people it finds. Anything it isn’t sure about waits for your call. Each sync run can be undone.

Your notetaker heard these people in your notes. Tell it who they are and it files the note on their record.

Your program, your columns.

Athletes, staff, and teams are built in. Add your own tabs — recruits, parents, opponents — and your own fields, eleven types, from Hometown to a Yes/No you invented at 11pm. Imports can create fields straight from your spreadsheet headers.

Duplicates get caught

“Merge into Marcus Rivera?” — notes, links, and filled-in fields move over; the extras are deleted.

Every import is logged

File, sheet, who ran it, when — and “12 created · 3 updated · 1 skipped” per run.
